New Moon in Bharani
On Saturday at 3:45pm pdt there will be a new moon in Bharani nakshatra. Bharani's shakti is the power to carry things away. It is ruled by the deity Yama, the god of death, who carries the soul away at the end of life. This makes the following month a good one for endings. This is a great time to get rid of anything that isn't serving you any more, and to make room for a new, more beneficial element to enter. Yama is also the god that rules dharma, so for this period it is good to realign yourself with your sense of purpose. A good thing to avoid during this period is the judgment of other people, and especially judgments that are related to feelings of things not being fair. Just remember that everything that happens in our life is due to our own karma. The people who seem to cause you distress, are only an apparent cause, not the real cause. The real cause is your own karma. If you really understand that, you will end up taking complete responsibility for your own life, and you will never judge other people.
