Vimshottari Dasha

A systematic class on how to use Vimshottari Dasha for making detailed predictions.

Probably the most important key to making accurate predictions in Vedic astrology is the dasha system. A dasha is a planetary period, a period of time during which a planet is empowered to give its results. Of the many dasha systems described by the ancient rishis, Vimshottari stands out as the most important, the most straight-forward, and the easiest to use. In fact, Parashara, the father of Jyotish, recommended this dasha, above all of the others, as the most powerful for making accurate predictions. Even though there are many different types of dashas, most Vedic astrologers use Vimshottari Dasha as their main technique of prediction.

In this class, Jim describes the various techniques of using Vimshottari Dasha. He illustrates the use of this dasha in all the various domains of life, integrating its use with the use of divisional charts and transits.
