There will be a New Moon in Uttarashadha nakshatra on Saturday, January 21st at 1:53pm pt. Uttara Ashadha is symbolized by the tusk of an Elephant. That's connected to Ganesh, who broke his tusk off in order to use it as a pen to write the Mahabharata. This New Moon begins a new lunar cycle of 29 days, starting on the 21st, that is good for writing, studying or gaining knowledge. That period is also good a time to identify any obstacles that seem to get in your way, zero in on them, and to simply make a plan to go over, under, around or even through them. After all, Ganesha was the Vedic deity that removes obstacles. You can even use a mantra to Ganesh, Om Ganapataye Namah, to help you. Uttarashadha, in Sanskrit, means later victory. First you overcome the obstacle, then you have victory. Just relax, close your eyes, surrender to Ganesh, and realize that obstacles are simply a figment of your imagination. Once you figure that out, the rest is a breeze. Deepen your path of self discovery with my books, webinars, retreats and private readings. Jameskelleher.com/collections/classes
