Full Moon in Shatabhisha

There will be a Full Moon in Shatabhisha nakshatra on Wednesday, August 30th at 6:35pm pst. Shatabhisha, in Sanskrit, means a hundred physicians or a hundred medicines. Its shakti is the power of healing. It is a nakshatra that is connected with all types of healing modalities, conventional and alternative. This is a good time to do something that is beneficial for your health or that promotes your healing process. The deity that rules Shatabhisha is Varuna, the god of the ocean. If you happen to live near the ocean or a body of water, the full moon is a great time to spend some quality time communing with Varuna and the water element itself. Personally, I'm headed to Lake Tahoe on this full Moon, and I intend to lap up some of those high sierra alpine lake vibes.
