Medical Astrology / Remedial Astrology

Join us in Saint-Maurice, Switzerland for this five day Swiss-Alps Jyotish intensive.  The class will focus on medical astrology.   Jim will show you how to judge the clients constitutional strength, as well as how to tell what  areas of  the body will produce problems.  He will also show you how to predict the time when health problems occur, as  well as  the  time of recovery.  In the process you will become more grounded in the fundamentals of chart analysis, as well as the use of Dasha and transit techniques. 

One of the interesting features of this class will be a module on Remedial Measures.  Each day, Jim will devote some  time to this subject, showing you how to prescribe gemstones, mantras and  other remedies.

As with all of Jim's classes, the orientation of this class is towards doing actual readings.   Jim's philosophy of teaching is that you learn astrology by doing astrology, not by talking about astrology.  The Swiss Alps will provide an excellent environment for a total immersion experience in this ancient art.

Course Details:

Accommodations - Hotellerie-Franciscaine, Saint-Maurice, Switzerland – the Hotelleirie Franciscaine is a hotel/conference center.  The facility is very clean and well managed.  The rooms are simple and very inexpensive by Swiss standards.  This facility gets rave reviews from their guests and is the perfect spot for holding a conference on Jyotish.   The accommodation fee includes meals.

Food -  Please note that the hotel accommodation fee includes full meals. $113 per night for a hotel room and meals in Switzerland is a great price!  The  price also includes tourist tax. The management at the hotel is willing to accommodate most people's dietary needs.  This should satisfy the culinary expectations of vegetarians, non vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements.  Just make your dietary needs known in advance.

Cost:

1. Course fee for 5 days of class - $700 
2. Cost of Hotel Accommodations for 6 nights at Hotellerie-Franciscaine:

                Single -  CHF 690 (Swiss Francs)  (Approximately $113 per night or about $683 total) subject to change due to currency fluctuation.

                Double accommodations may also be available.  Details available on request.

Prerequisites:  This class is open to any student of Jyotish, but it is oriented to the intermediate through advanced level of practice.  Beginning students are welcome, but they should have a familiarity with the basic terminology, rulerships of signs and nakshatras, and the basic ability to follow a discussion about chart interpretation.  

Registration:   If you have taken other classes given by James, then just send in the full class fee.  Call for details of how to pay.    If you have not attended any classes by James in the past, then call James Kelleher at 530-265-8410 to discuss the class format before signing up.

How to register:  Send the full course fee in US dollars to James Kelleher, in the form of an international money order or bank draft,  made out to James Kelleher.  This will cover the course fee and secure your spot in the class. 

The fee for accommodations will be also be  paid to James.  Please note:  The accommodation rate may change slightly based on currency fluctuation. 

Payment forms accepted:  The course fee must be to James Kelleher, in the form of a U.S. Bank check.  International bank draft, cashiers check, money order.

You can pay by Paypal or credit card, but  there will be a  surcharge of 3 percent.

Cancellation policy:   If you cancel more than 30 days prior to the course, the course fee will be refunded, but there will be a $50 cancellation fee.  If you cancel less than 30 days before the class starts, the course fee will be refunded, but there is a $100 cancellation fee.  Refunds of the accommodation costs will be subject to hotel policy.
